Chapter 17: This is ALL to much.

It was the first time i had disagreed with jay, like who are you to make me miss my first tour.

Rihanna: But jay, I can do this.

Jay: Tell me how, how are you going to finish your album by the time the tour starts, youll have less than 2 months to finalize it all, and i refuse to have a rushed album.

Rihanna: It wont be rushed, Were almost done jay..

Its been almost 7 months since my first album dropped, which meant ive been working on this album for 5 and a half months, ive recorded all my singles and now its just about picking the other songs and doing framework…

Jay: I tell you what. If you hurry up and record these songs and get it going, ill let you go on this tour, only to help promote your album.

So after that i was working… working extremly hard to get this album finished up..And within a month i had it. I had recorded my whole album and picked all the songs i wanted to go on this album. I called gwen stafani back and told her it was a deal, her team met up with my team, discussed pay and tour dates and finalized it all. Now its time to start promoting the tour…

First person to know about the tour was my family of course, Its been so longed since i heard from them, I havnt talked to my mom, or brothers, or step dad, or bestfriend in i dont know how long, i just know they all feel abandoned.

I called them and told them the good news and they were all excited for me, it turned out i wasnt the only one with good news…

Shia: Rihanna, i have something to tell you…

Rihanna: Oh gosh im scared…

then we started laughing…

Shia: Im 6 months months pregnant. Your going to be a god mommy..

 I was excited and nervous at the same time… I knew alot of people back home probally judged her, because she is only 17, but i knew that the baby would be well taken care of because back home our family is well oriented.

Rihanna: Woah, really? By who?

Shia: Well i met this guy, its a long story, ill have to tell you when you come home, When are you coming home?

Rihanna: Idk hopefully soon, maybe after this tour..

Then the conversation kind of fadded away and i told her i would talk to her later, i had to get ready for my 2nd television appearance this time it will be on some late night mtv show…

by this time its February, and its been super cold outside, i wasnt never really ever used to the cold, back home it never got cold, or snowed, so i didnt have cloths appropiate for cold weather, and as soon as i walked outside to arrive at the show i froze my but off.

Host: Well Rihanna, Its such a honor to have you here…

Rihanna: Thank you, its such a honor to be here..

Host: So what have you been working on lately? I know you had your debut album drop at the end of last year and it did pretty good.

Rihanna: Yes my album did drop last year, it was super exciting, and it did pretty good globally, but numbers wise i wish they could have been a lil higher, so im putting alot of different sounds into my next album..

Host: so you do have another album coming soon.

Rihanna: Yes “A girl like me” Is the album title and it is expected to drop in april, my 1st single will be dropping this week, called “SOS”, Its a different sound, coming from me, i toned down the island aspect alot and kind of shifted to R&B.

Host: well thats good, trying something different.. Do you have any tours coming up, or movies? I also spoke with the pussy cat dolls, they said something about you all touring together…?

Rihanna: Well i am going to be touring with Gwen Stafani soon, and i have not spoken with the pussy cat dolls but if they give me a call i will tour with them, i have no problem. And far as movies go, ive gotten a call or two and nothing really set and stone, however we are tryna figure something out with “Bring it on: All or nothing” I may be making a cameo in that.. so just stay tuned i have alot that will be coming up…

I didnt even really notice how busy i would be, i have alot of people out to get me and tour with me and movies and still promote my new album… Maybe jay was right? Maybe i cant handle this tour… I guess we will just have to wait and see how this goes…

2 days later my first single “SOS” dropped off my new album and the fans loved it, the song was chart topping… It was number 1 in the united states on the billboard top 100. it was my first song to top the charts in the U.S. Not even my last album had a song to do as good as this one, and i was super excited, because i knew this was only the beginning. After that song dropped, the fans started requesting a video, so on top of preparing for this tour, rehearsal, promoting the album, preparing for a movie and 2 world tours, i had to shoot a video… It was all starting to be a bit much… I think im gonna have to tell someone im out….?

I grabbed my phone and decided to call…

Rihanna: Hey, Is this Gwen Stafani?
